Pulling things from AH

Howcome it's not possible to change your mind about the items you put on AH?
I think it ought to be possible to withdraw the items, as long as it has 24 hours left to go.
Sometimes things change and you find that you might actually need that thing you previously felt you didn't.
I think it would be nice.
