There is a price for everything. You knew what you went into when you joined.
It's a bandana worn by a human, not a tent.

agree with thalric, besides there's another item in game that allows ogres to see in darkness - at the cost of a hand..... so you can decide if you wish to dps or see in the dark.....

Re: Bandanas on ogres?
It's a big question. Guilds have disadvantages. Some of them set them upon themselves for lore-related reasons, some are set by the wizards and some feel like they''re in-between (You might get sneers or panic from your friendly npcs?)
The head protection for Ogres is something intended to be as it is set my its maker, so in terms of core mechanics it is accounted for. Darkness is always discussed as more of a commodity, so I would say probably keep it that way. There are other people playing without darkness, willingly or unwillingly so Ogres can too as per their restrictions.
I think the above is enough to state my opinion, but as a bonus I think the bandana specifically makes even less sense considering the vast inadequacy of your mentals as an Ogre. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a clause to make you unable to use it even if you somehow bugged it and wore it or something

There is always the opportunity to use a darkvision imbue on one of your Ogre items.
