A suggestion for consideration.

wizards for whatever their reasons made the changes they thought necessary to

My suggestion is this. To reopen the vampires as a layman guild using the
Bloodguards as a basis for the form, this will allow those of us who wish to be
vampires to be so without all the argument of the over-power and such. Change
the name, modify the guild some - and charge the related tax for the
modification, do whatever would be reasonable and unbiased to make the effect
happen.

There are some of us, who would like the option, who do not need to have the "
I-win button" in order to be a vampire. I wish you consider the suggestion for
the roleplayers that still exist in this realm.
