Hidden Imbuement
Figured I'd start a vote on this to get people's opinions on it.
If something I wrote sounds confusing ... assume you misunderstood it.
Re: Hidden Imbuement
Just out of curiosity, are there other people using scripts to scan large areas for imbuements, or am I the only one?
Haven't heard about anyone else doing it, though I guess they might prefer to not talk about it.
Voted Yes, btw. And thanks for starting this vote.

Re: Hidden Imbuement
I would say that the effects of the imbuement should obviously be visible though the imbument itself isn't. If an imbuement makes light or darkness or causes rabid butterflies to fly from a weapon all of these effects should still be visible. Stating the obvious a bit I understand, but its good to be explicit as to what we're asking for.
In my opinion, I am just looking for the unusual, peculiar and exotic qualifiers to not be visible just by looking at the NPC.

Agreed
Them beeing visable only means people run through an area on colour triggers for the three sorts, go back and target that specific NPC and leave, its silly, if people want imbuements, grind for them
Re: Hidden Imbuement
Those who voted No -- could you perhaps explain your reasoning?

Re: Hidden Imbuement
I got at least 5 names apart from you who do this on a regular basis. Even as I'm clearing the area they can come and stroll byBooger wrote:Just out of curiosity, are there other people using scripts to scan large areas for imbuements, or am I the only one?

Re: Hidden Imbuement
The results of this vote are pretty cut-and-dried. I think what might be possible is to have the "unusual/peculiar/exotic" identifier only visible if the item is not being held by an npc. That should fix the problem, I think, but we'll have to look into the implementation.
I'll look into it with Lavellan.

Mmmmmm ... pie ...
Re: Hidden Imbuement
I guess that's what everyone's asking for.
Just remember that we want that identifier visible when carried by a _dead_ npc, (the corpse of our victim).

Re: Hidden Imbuement
If Booger is the killer the adjective should remain hidden for another 15 seconds though
